This course will provide an overview of energetic healing modalities as well as explore supplemental tools used in healing. The course will discuss historical context of Reiki and cite historical instances of energy healing.

The GEOLOOM map is an online mapping tool that demonstrates how arts and culture is woven into Baltimore’s neighborhoods and social fabric. The tool is intended for a wide audience, including arts and culture organizations, urban planners, non-profits, researchers, community associations, activists, developers, and residents. This workshop will help attendees navigate the GEOLOOM map as well as demonstrate how the tool can be a resource for communities and the city of Baltimore.

Body Wellness is a introductory course into Holistic Health & Fitness... It's aim is to raise the collective awareness of the general public about the importance of living an active and health conscious lifestyle. During the "Awakening" we will discuss the 5 components of fitness and general health... in the second portion we will perform a total body workout (stretch, warm-up, workout, cool down, stretch).

A galimoto is a toy made of bits and pieces of whatever. You will have all sorts of recycled materials to spur your imagination so can create your very own galimoto. No special "artistic" abilities needed, just bring your adventure-some self-ready to have a great time.
"Talking Drums" is geared towards cultivating focus, self-esteem, determination, respect, and self-discipline through the art of drumming.
Make your own zine using paper, scissors and your imagination. Zines are independent publications that can be used to express ideas and creativity. In this workshop, participants will learn how to create their own mini zines in a simple and fun exercise.
Blending dance movement, personal interview, and improvisation, this exercise will promote vulnerability and collaboration within the participating group. Participants should dress in clothing that allows free movement (no skirts, jewelry; sneakers are preferred) and be prepared for an intensive experience. Those with asthma, injuries, or other conditions which may restrict movement or hinder a participant's ability to complete the exercise would be encouraged to seek other workshop opportunities. This workshop is ideal for existing groups with individuals who are eager to see and understand one another beyond their surface interactions.
In the course, students will learn documentary style photography and videography using smartphones. We will discuss specific features and apps that capture the highest quality images and how to organize the images and video to tell a story. This is a great workshop for teens age 12- 18!
The premise of MS Baltimore is to connect, create, and engage the MS community in Baltimore. We are designed to provide "green" (recycled) materials for arts and crafts so participants can maintain/strengthen fine motor skills and functional mobility. It has been used to express raw emotion and address issues of social justice.During this course we will discuss some of those methods and their historical impact, and how the installment of yarn bombs around Baltimore City is bringing to light things that still need attention.

Baltimore City community members are encouraged to attend public trainings to learn how to recognize and respond to an opioid overdose.
