Wellness Awareness with Team Autobars and Laststrike Fitness.
This workshop includes lessons on mindfulness, preparing healthy snacks at home, learning various exercise routines they can do at home, gathering a better understanding of what wellness is.
Participants will gain an increased knowledge and skill set on how to incorporate what is taught during the sessions in their
everyday life. This includes but is not limited to mindfulness, preparing healthy snacks at home, learning various exercise routines they can do at home, gathering a better understanding of what wellness is.
Our course is designed to encourage, motivate, inspire, and provide participants to understand the value of embracing wellness as a tool for an overall better life. We believe that no matter what your skill level that taking charge of your life by making better choices is going to be beneficial to you as the participant. Our group wants to ensure that the communities we serve are knowledgeable and informed about healthier lifestyle choices. It is our goal to make the experience fun and informative.
The mission of Team Autobars is to engage, encourage, teach, and motivate others about the various benefits of incorporating wellness into their everyday lives. They are extremely passionate about working and serving at risk and underserved populations in Baltimore City and the surrounding areas.
Tarahn Harris has spent the last 20 dedicating himself to impacting the lives of others through direct service work with underserved and at risk populations. These populations include children and adult dealing with mental health challenges, low income families, and adults facing substance abuse challenges. Over the last 10 years he has also dedicated himself to increasing the community’s awareness about the impact that adopting a healthier lifestyle can have on our lives as individuals and as a community. He
cofounded Team Autobars a wellness, fitness, and positive nutrition collective along with Sean House, BS a board certified personal trainer and former U.S. Marine. Together they developed a curriculum aimed at reducing at risk unhealthy behaviors to youth and adults in Baltimore City. Together they developed D.I.P.S (Discipline Inspiration Physical Fitness & Structure which is a 12 month curriculum that address mindfulness, physical fitness, character building, self-discipline and overall wellness. It is there hope to inspire, motivate, and teach others to reevaluate some of the lifestyle choices that they make.
Tee Larkin is the Director of East Coast Operations of Last Strike Fitness. Last Strike Fitness is dedicated to empowering others to embrace physical fitness as a lifestyle and means to create overall wellness in their lives. Mr. Larkin has a background in Bio Chemistry and is passionate about teaching others about food ingredients and how the effect us in a negative and positive way.
