Your relationship to your breath is one of the only relationships you know you'll have for your entire life. It's worth taking the time to get to know it, and learn to use it as a source of comfort and inspiration. In this session, you will explore your breath, your mind, and your emotions. Together we will pay attention, non-judgmentally, to the present moment. We will employ various breath techniques and we may even do certain partner exercises (always optional). Afterwards we will share our experiences. Everyone is welcome. You do not need any prior experience with meditation and you don’t have to be able to sit cross-legged on the floor. Some meditations will include movement, visualizations, calling up memories, emitting sound, and staring into the eyes of a stranger. If anything feels it would be too far out of your comfort zone, do not worry. You never have to do anything, ever, and everyone usually has their eyes closed anyway.
