The Magick of Sound Music Theory Class consists of a well-planned sequence of developmentally appropriate experiences leading to clearly defined skills and knowledge. This course will integrate aspects of melody, rhythm, form, and musical analysis. Musicianship skills such as dictation, sight-singing, and the ability to read and write musical notation are important parts of the theory course. Activities include many opportunities for the students to sing, move to music, listen and analyze, learn musical notation, create and perform.
